As the debate over Ram Temple construction on the disputed land in Ayodhya heats up, BJP chief Amit Shah has reiterated that the party's commitment to the construction is "non-negotiable".
While answering a question about the delay in bringing a legislation for Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Shah said that the matter is currently pending in the Supreme Court. "Let's wait until it is heard in January," Shah was quoted as saying by The Times of India. More videos
He further attacked the Opposition claiming that the case has been pending in the apex court for nine years. Shah also said that the Congress has been wanting to postpone it even while the "lawyers of Ram Lalla" have insisted on taking it up as a priority. "We are expecting a favourable judgement and let us wait," the party chief was quoted as saying.
