A spy of Pakistan, with affiliation to the ISI ( Inter-Services Intelligence), was arrested on Monday, from a research wing that houses sensitive information on the BrahMos missile in the state of Nagpur, Maharashtra. The spy, named, Nishant Agarwal, was nabbed in a joint operation by the Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra Anti-Terror Squad.
He was arrested from the Defence Research and Development Organisation facility. This facility produces fuel, for the BrahMos missile. The BrahMos is a medium-range supersonic missile that can be fired from submarines, ships, aircraft or land. The arrest was even more critical since this facility makes the world's fastest cruise missile.
