Headquarter issued order
In the order issued by the headquarter, it has said that Holi special train will be run from 13 to 23 March, one day in the week between Anand Vihar Kamakhya. On Wednesday, we will reach Anand Vihar at 11.45 pm and reach Kamakhya at 2.45 pm on Friday. In return, every Saturday, going from 5.30 pm to Kamakhya, will arrive at Anand Vihar on Tuesday evening at 8.15 pm. This train will run via Hapur, Moradabad, Chandausi, Sitapur. This train will have AC Two and Three, Sleeper and General Coach.
There will be a special train between
Chandigarh and Gorakhpur from March 14 to 22. Every Thursday, from 11.15 pm onwards, from Chandigarh, will reach Gorakhpur at 5.30 pm on Friday. On return journey every Friday at 11.10 pm will reach Gorakhpur at 2.45 pm on Saturday afternoon. This train will run via Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly and Lucknow. This train will have AC Two, Three, Sleeper and General Bogie.
Holi special train will run between New Delhi and Barauni from 12 March to 23 March. Every Tuesday and Friday at 7.35 pm, from New Delhi, Baroni will reach Wednesday and Saturday at 7.45 pm. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, every 9.35 pm will leave Baroni and reach New Delhi at 10.10 pm on Thursdays and Saturdays. This train will run via Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Gorakhpur. This train will have AC Two and Three Coaches.
From March 16 to 24, the special train will run from Firozpur to Katihar. On Saturdays every morning, going from Ferozepur at 10.40 am, Katihar will reach Sunday at seven o'clock. On every Sunday night at 11 pm, Katihar will reach Ferozepur at 8.40 am on Monday. In this train there will be AC Three and sleeper coach. This train will run via Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Sitapur, Gorakhpur.
Special buses to run roadways for Holi
If you do not get place in trains to go home in Holi, then do not be disturbed, roadways will make arrangements to get you home. Holi special buses are going on the roadways from March 17. On the side of which the crowd will be more, immediate buses will be operated for that side.
Buses may be better options for travelers
Railways has announced a very small number of Holi special trains so far. More than a dozen trains have been canceled by March 31. Because of this, a lot of people could not find place in trains. In many trains, berths have stopped getting waiting tickets in many trains. In this way the passengers are quite upset to go home. Roadways administration has prepared everyone to reach home in Holi. Holi special special bus will be run from March 17.
Most crowds on Holi run from Delhi. 80 buses will be sent to Delhi. Buses have been arranged in all the depots. Buses will be operated on the same road as there will be more crowds. Roadways has special arrangements for this, for buses lacking. Outgoing buses will return to the destination by reaching the destination. The crowd of outgoing passengers will remain till the night of March 19. There will be more crowds coming from Delhi to Moradabad on March 20. Overnight buses from Delhi to Moradabad will be run.
Holi will end by the afternoon of March 21, after which travelers will start walking in the local area. Special arrangements have been made for local passengers. It is believed that the returning crowd will start running from March 23, for which buses will be made available. Assistant Regional Manager (Moradabad Depot) Sandeep Kumar Nayak told that the roadways has made special arrangements for those going to Holi. Bus repairs are being done etc.
