OPPO A9 2020 price in India was recently hiked owing to the GST rate increase that went into effect from April 1st. It was selling at Rs 15,990 for the 4GB + 128GB variant and Rs 18,490 for the 8GB + 128GB model.
Now, has exclusively learned from retail sources that the Chinese brand has dropped the price of the OPPO A9 2020 base variant by Rs 1,000 just days after increasing its price. The price drop means the OPPO A9 4GB + 128GB model will be back to its original selling price of Rs 14,990 going forward through offline retail stores across India. Since the online e-commerce platforms like Flipkart and Amazon are currently not taking any new orders due to the coronavirus lockdown in India, the new pricing isn’t reflected on the e-commerce platforms yet.

The OPPO A9 2020 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch to accommodate the selfie snapper and slim bezels. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC coupled with 4GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage that is further expandable via microSD card. The handset runs on Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6.1 custom skin overlaid on top.
