A news has come about Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi, according to which the company is working on a unique smartphone. Xiaomi's upcoming smartphone will include a waterfall screen and under-display camera in the list of the most unique phones.
Earlier, the company has introduced Mi Mix Alpha with a stunning and unique design. However, it was a concept phone that was not sold in any market. At the same time, now the company has filed a patent for the design of a new smartphone on the lines of this phone.

In September 2019 Xiaomi patented a design with the Chinese Patent Office CNIPA regarding the new UI of the smartphone. This patent was published on 3 April 2020 and is now included in the Global Design Database of WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office).
According to this UI, both the sides of the smartphone's screen will have more than 60 percent screen surface. If you talk about the user interface of this phone, then it will have a 90 degree rounded screen with side control. Of Xiaomi

However, this curved screen is not as bold as the Mi Mix Alpha, which also covers most of the back panel.
Zener status icons such as display on the edges, battery indicator on the home screen and network strength can appear.

The patent focuses on the user interface and the back.
The front camera of the phone will be under the screen. In June 2019, Xiaomi and Oppo showcased the prototype
smartphone with camera under screen.
However, it is not clear yet which smartphone Xiaomi will bring with this patented design.
