JioSaavn App Launched, Jio Users Get 90 Days Complimentary Saavn Pro Access

JioSaavn is finally here. To recall, back in March, telecom giant Reliance Jio had revealed its planned acquisition of Saavn. It appears that the deal is now complete, as the popular Saavn music streaming app now been rebranded to JioSaavn. For now, only the Saavn app for iOS has undergone the rebranding, with the Android app due to receive its makeover soon. The merger brings with it a rebranded icon and name, however most design elements and features of the app itself remain similar to those offered previously. Notably, on the Apple App Store, the Saavn app has been replaced with the new JioSaavn app, however Jio Music remains as a standalone app. The changelog reveals that all Jio network users will be offered 90 days complimentary access to the premium Saavn Pro subscription.
