In a recent patent filing done by Samsung at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), it seems the South Korean electronics maker is going to go bonkers on its super premium super flagship, the Galaxy Note 10. In a rather weird picture, it seems that Samsung is researching ways to completely remove the notch and the idea of a "punch-hole" display designs and still allow Galaxy Note 10 users to take selfies.samsung smart switch
According to schematics shown in the patent, Samsung is looking to develop some important changes to the S Pen rather than bringing it to the phone. In layman terms, the patent describes a certain method which could include a camera into the S Pen and which will feature at least one lens and an image sensor.

The camera seems to be embedded into the stylus is supposedly controlled by an external button, something similar to the button we see on the current S Pen on the Galaxy Note 9. There is another button on the S Pen which reportedly allows the Galaxy Note users to adjust the zoom. The patent filing was spotted by PatentlyMobile. The patent filing also mentions that the S Pen is meant for an upcoming Galaxy Note device, however, it does not specify which Note device it will be. So it could be the Galaxy Note 10, or the next one too.

Although its impressive that Samsung is working towards bringing a tonne of tech in the tiny S Pen which already is multi-functional, it is, however, hard to understand that Samsung is actually looking to drop the idea of a selfie camera on the Galaxy Note device altogether.
Okay, there could be another possibility that Samsung could be bringing a separate camera function to the upcoming Galaxy Note and that selfie camera will still be there. As of now, the only thing we are certain of is that the Galaxy Note 10 may arrive with an S Pen which has a camera in it only, meaning users can just whip out the pen and start shooting. Only time can tell.
