Hello and welcome to Reviews PK! My name is Madan and this is the unboxing of Huawei Nova 7i and our first impressions.
Nova 7i is generating too much excitement in the market. A lot of you guys asked me to do its unboxing as soon as possible.
But there was a Media Embargo by Huawei of 21st May, because of which we were unable to bring this video for you earlier.
And Huawei Nova 7i is basically Huawei's reply to Realme 6 and Redmi Note 9S. Our today's variant comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage.
And right now you can pre-order it on daraz for Rs 44,000/- There are three colour options for the phone, Midnight Black, Crush Green and our device for today, which is Sakura Pink. Some highlighted features of the phone are its powerful processor, Quad camera setup and super fast charging.
But before getting into the unboxing, if you like the video at any point then drop a like on it. And if you're new to our channel then subscribe us, and turn the notification bell on so that you can be notified about our new uploads. Now, let's
unbox Huawei Nova 7i. Phone's warranty
the card comes along with the plastic wrapper, and this phone is with 12 Month warranty. After opening the box, you get the handset wrapped in this plastic bag.
There is a folder along with it, which includes a sim ejecting tool, some user manuals and a clear silicone protective case.
Alongside, there is a USB Type-C Cable, a 40W super-fast charging capable power adapter. Which is again, not local lized. And a hands-free headset along with it.
Now let's take a look at the handset. If we talk about design and build, Nova 7i has a glass at the front, whereas back and frame is of plastic. There is a camera module at the top left at the back of the phone.
Which is a round-edged square? And I really liked the look of this phone for sure. Especially in this glossy Sakura Pink colour, with light pink colour on the upper side whereas light turquoise colour down to it.
If we talk about the button placement, there are volume rockers at its right side, with a power button/fingerprint sensor below it. The left side includes the phone's sim-tray, which is a hybrid sim slot.
At the top, there is a noise cancellation mic. Whereas, the bottom side there is this phone's headphone jack, USB Type-C port, mic and a speaker grill.
Talking about the display, Huawei Nova 7i has a 6.4 inches Full HD IPS LCD Display.
With a Full HD Plus resolution, which is 1080 x 2310, with a pixel density of 398ppi. There is a hole punch cut out at the top left of the display, which is in trend these days. And this has the phone's selfie camera in it.
Moving forwards, we'll talk about the phone's specifications. An updated processor is given in Nova 7i this time.
So here Kirin 810 Chipset is given, which is based on a 7nm architecture. Before this, we had mostly seen Kirin 710 in Huawei mid-range phones. So, this is a great thing that they have upgraded this processor.
And a lot of people are very excited because of this processor. Along with it, there is Mali G52 GPU in the phone, 8GB RAM, 128 GB Built-in Storage. If we perform some initial benchmark testing, you can see that the Geek bench 4 scores of Huawei Nova 7i and its Antutu scores are very good according to this price range.
Therefore, this chipset is definitely this phone's major selling point. Along with it, like the rest of the mid-range phones at this time, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor is given, and its initial performance is looking quite decent to me. The phone comes with dual sim support but a hybrid sim slot is given in it.
Meaning you can either insert two sims or one sim and one micro SD card.
Talking about the interface, the phone comes Android 10, out of the box. But here, that's right guys, are no Google services.
Which means this phone will not come with any pre-installed Google apps. I think if you want you can install it by yourself. But out of the box, this phone will not support any Google Apps. But a Huawei app gallery is given in it, where you can find all your basic applications. I tried Facebook, and it was there too.
I found WhatsApp as well as TikTok here too. If you want to access YouTube, you can do through its browser.
Same goes with Gmail. Moving forwards, if we talk about Battery and charging setup of the phone, so a 4,200 mAh battery is given here. But along with the phone,
Huawei's 40W Super Fast comes with it.
And according to Huawei, with this fast charging, you can charge this phone upto 70% within half an hour.
If you'll ask me, then this feature is almost like a flagship feature, We have only seen such fast charging in flagship phones up till now.
Therefore this is definitely a game-changing feature for this phone. If you'll charge it for 10 to 15 minutes too I am sure it'll give you a lot of time. But I will surely test out its battery and charging speed for this phone's full review. And now if we talk about another big selling point of this phone, that is its
Quad Camera setup. Huawei Nova 7i
Has a 48MP f/1.8 aperture Wide Angle Lens. Along with it, an 8MP Ultra Wide camera, 2 MP Macro camera and a 2 MP depth sensor.
Whereas on the front, there is a 16MP Selfie Shooter.
The maximum video recording resolution for front and back cameras is 1080p at 30 frames per second.
Now to give a full analysis on this camera, I would have to use this phone for a few days in order to examine how the camera performs But I'm leaving few samples for you in this video too by which you can have an idea of its initial performance.
I really liked the colour reproduction. Images were quite sharp too. And I have heard appreciation for this camera from others too. And if you'll look towards Huawei's flagship phones, their cameras are out of this world as well.
And I won't be surprised if this phone had gotten that benefit too But again, I will test it out for this phone's full review. So if I talk about my initial impressions, I noticed a lot of interest for Nova 7i from you guys.
And that interest is mainly due to three thing, Kirin 810 Processor, which is an updated, a very powerful and power-efficient processor.
Along with its 40W Super fast charge
which is a game-changing feature for many people, that this phone charges very quickly. And alongside its Quad camera setup, whose performance, again, I will confirm in this phone's full review.
What are your thoughts about Huawei Nova 7i? Do let me know in the comment section below. And if there are further things that you want me to cover this phone, mention that in the comments as well. That's all for this video. I will meet you in the next one. Goodbye!
