According to the announcement made by the Delhi government, a lump sum amount of Rs 5000 will be sent to the bank account of PSV (Public Service Vehicles) drivers. For this amount, drivers will have to apply online by visiting the website of Delhi Transport Department. The application process will start from April 13 and will continue till April 27.

Due to which drivers related to public service vehicles like auto rickshaws, taxis, rural services, fatfat services, maxi cabs, eco-friendly services, e-rickshaws and school cabs, have become unemployed and are struggling with economic crisis. A week ago, the Delhi government had announced a grant of Rs 5-5 thousand as financial help to reduce the suffering of people related to public service vehicles.
These people will get benefit
Delhi government, the Transport Department has prepared an action plan to provide financial assistance to the PSV (Public Service Vehicles) providers. Only those people who have received the badge (public badge) of the public service vehicle by 23 March 2020 will get the benefit of this financial help of Delhi government. Also, individuals whose driving license validity expired on or after 01 February 2020.
