Due to the lockdown implemented across the country due to Coronavirus, people are facing many problems. Going to the ATM to withdraw money has also become very difficult during this time. HDFC Bank has taken an initiative to solve this problem.
HDFC Bank on Wednesday launched mobile ATM machines on the road. With their help, people will not have to come out to go to the ATM, rather the ATM will come to them on their own. Mobile ATM facility will be available between 10 am and 5 pm.
Service started in Noida-Mumbai, preparation for rest of the country too
According to the bank, this service has been successfully started in Noida and Mumbai on Wednesday. It will soon be rolled out in other parts of the country as well. Information can be obtained from the local corporation authorities in their respective cities to identify the route of the mobile ATM. For example, in Mumbai, the bank is working with BMC to decide the route.
Schedule for each location
These mobile ATMs will remain at each location for a certain time. During this time, the mobile ATM will go from 3 to 5 places between 10 am to 5 pm. During this time, full care will be taken to keep social distance and sanitization of staff and customers.
